lol.... just felt like 'singing'/typing out the 'happy birthday' song for singpore... hehe... today really national day... 9 of august.... 2006 that is... not 41 years ago... bahx... i was just reading my history textbook [out of my own will too!] and got to the chpt that was telling how singpore got self-independence... feel a bit sad lor... bah.... i really wonder how come singporeans became a multi-racial country with all those racial roits back in th 50s/60s... are we really a multi-racial county? do we really live in harmony? this is kinda strange to ask after about 13years living in such a scociety... but i really dun noe weather to agree with the q... i am suddenly reminded about the journal i still owe miss seah on the trip to the btnr... gah... there's still like 2 days to go... bah.... today[ok... yesterday i meant] had the national day celebration... there are some similarites with this year's celebration. for 1) the sec 2s were mainly wearing the carnival t-shirt we wore to the national day celebrations last year; 2) we were made to sit on the wet ground AGAIN! [how come it seems to always rain on the day of the celerations??]; 3) same old stuff [e.g. sing-along session; that poem; etc]; yupss... these 3 are the main stuff... got others but nah... piont 2 is quite piontless to mention but i really wanted to piont out... ok.... so i'll start of with my day lor... so early in the morning i woke up [this IS piontless but nesseary; how else would i start my day off?] and got ready to go to school... put on my stupid carnival t-shirt and thought to myself, 'this still looks way too big' then i packed my blouse in my bag in case i wanted to change out... then went out of the hse and got to the bus stop... saw someone holding a tin can out for charity [like flag day?] and donated 60cents and became broke... [i was left with 60 cents... how sad... lol (T^T) ] got on to the bus and sat down... saw hannah... but didn't say anything... too lazy... she oso nvr say anything... so got to sch... went to the normal place at the quadragle and saw tt 2a1 wasn't there although most of the other classes were there... so went to class cuz they must be there... then blah... this part isn't worth mentioning... i can't even remember wat happen... so went down... sang the national athem [ok... i mouth the words... but i was singing it in my heart!!!!!!! i suck at singing...] and said the pledge... then the sing-along session... flags stuck on straws were given out... then dun noe which class/person started it but someone 'link'ed the flags together to make a tall tower [is that the right word?] and it was taller than me lor.... so after the sin-along session was basically some announcements... and we went back to class for the competetions... was in the grp that was designing the 'traditional' clothes for singapore...
didn't win anything... 1a1'06 did though... the class cheered for them... because they were 1a1? dun noe lah... i clapped for them... then left... then sms yunzhen asked her if she was going back to fuhua... then sms pamela... then went to 7-11 with emelia and hannah [the rest went for breakfast at mr prata i think] and called yunzhen... the rest isn't really relevent except that i really wanna ask is how did pamela and allysa get lost? lol... then the guards of fuhua weren't allowed to let us in... so couldn't get in... sms pamela to tell her that and also met yuzhen with ther friend on the wasy to the libary... so the trip to the libary not bad... found 1 really good book... 'april and the dragon lady' more details of the 8 of august in my next post... now... i need to sleep... dad's gonna kill me if he come out and finds me still using the com.... bb...
